Father’s Day Benefit Concert for the Children of Gaza

Please join us at the Unitarian Society in downtown Northampton (220 Main St, Northampton, MA 01060, adjacent to Northampton City Hall, enter through the front doors), on Saturday, June 14, from 2-6 pm, for "A Father's Day Concert for the Children of Gaza."

Demilitarize W. MA, River Valley for Gaza Healthcare, Jewish Voice for Peace W. MA, Valley Families for Palestine and Leahy Fast for Palestine will be holding a benefit concert for the children and teachers of the Sumud School in northern Gaza. 'Sumud' is the Arabic word for 'steadfastness.' The school, which began with one family's children in a tent in Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza, in the winter of 2024, slowly grew to include 350 children and 15 teachers. Due to the conditions caused by Israel's genocide, the school is in desperate and ongoing need of funds to shelter, feed, and supply the children and teachers.
