Dr. Anwar Mhajne, an Umm al Fahem native, is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Stonehill College, in Massachusetts. She specialises in international relations and comparative politics, with a focus on gender, religion, and Middle Eastern politics. She also serves on the Academic Council of American Friends of Combatants for Peace.

Dr. Mhajne will discuss, amongst other things, how Israel’s technological advancements in AI and cyber are tied to the Occupation of Palestine. She will also speak about Palestinians living in Israel.
