September 28, 2025 @ 5:00PM — 10:00PM ET - Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott, Newark NJ
19th Annual CAIR - NJ Banquet
CAIR-NJ's 19th Annual Banquet kicks off at 5:00 pm on Sunday, September 28 at Newark Liberty International Airport.
The evening will bring together our community, allies, and advocates as we celebrate 19 years of defending, empowering, and educating Muslims across New Jersey. Individual tickets cost $80, while tables for ten cost $750, and children cost $20.
This is your opportunity to support CAIR-NJ’s critical work as the only civil rights organization in the state protecting Muslims at a historic moment as anti-Muslim rhetoric and propaganda have been on the rise for nearly a year.
We are proud to have Chris Smalls — Amazon Labor Union founder and Gaza Freedom Flotilla Handala crew member — as the keynote speaker for CAIR-NJ’s 19th Annual Banquet. We are also excited to have Mustafa Al-Mutazzim Brent — Newark Fire Chief — as our emcee and Shahir Raslan as our fundraiser
Community award winners for the 19th Annual Banquet! Our winners include:
Aseel Abukwaik, a Rutgers graduate student studying to become an educator, has won our community Young Organizer award.
Lamia Abdallah has won our community Young Organizer award.
Jenan A. Matari, an award wining Palestinian-American writer and author, has won our Storyteller for Social Justice award.
