8/12 (Online) 1pm - A "New" Middle East? What the 12-Day War Means for the Region (DAWN)

Tuesday Online Discussion: A 'New' Middle East? What the 12-Day War Means for the Region

Join DAWN Tuesday, August 5, at 1PM ET for an online event examining what the 12-day war means for the region. Despite Netanyahu and Trump’s past promises of a new Middle East, Iran and Israel's 12-Day War did little to address the Middle East's numerous problems. Rather, the fighting likely worsened many of them while hardening and empowering hawkish policies that have long plagued the region. So, what should the world expect for the region moving forward, and how will the impact of the war influence those shifts in the so-called "new" Middle East?
