MERIP is co-sponsoring a hybrid event organized by our partners at Exeter University’s Centre for Persian and Iranian Studies on the recent war between Israel and Iran. The panel will provide a reflection on the longer context of the Israeli/US escalation of hostilities, its aftermath and what it means for the wider region.
The event is chaired by Maziyar Ghiabi, a member of MERIP’s Editorial Committee, and features four experts on Iran and regional geopolitics – Asma Abdi, Shabnam Holliday, Andreas Krieg, and Craig Jones.
