7/12 (Zoom) 1:30pm - Bees, Land, & Liberation! A Conversation with Palestinian Beekeepers (Palestinian Rights Committee Albany and partners)

We're back, with a 2nd edition of "Bees, Land, & Liberation"!

*****
Join us July 12th (1:30 pm ET) for a webinar with Palestinian beekeepers and organizers from the Union of Agriculture Work Committees. This second version of "Bees, Land, & Liberation: A Conversation with Palestinian Beekeepers" will be an opportunity to hear personal stories directly from our Palestinian colleagues and will include space for questions from the public. We'll get a closer look into beekeeping under occupation and a glimpse into these beekeepers’ lives and their unique perspective on the impacts of this war. These beekeepers are careworkers who are committed to the long term nourishment, well-being and sovereignty of the people and land of Palestine.  We'll explore beekeeping & agricultural work as a step towards liberation & think about how to grow our global solidarity.

We will be offering both Spanish & Arabic interpretation channels.

We are fundraising to offer stipends to our Palestinian panelists (several of whom recently had their salaries cut) and interpreters AND to support our beekeeping colleagues in Gaza. Suggested donations $1 - $100 (more is great too!). No one turned away for lack of funds. Please send funds to combcutters@gmail.com via venmo, zelle, or paypal.
