🚨PICKET LINE + NOISE DEMO 06/18 OUTSIDE THE BROOKLYN NAVY YARD DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (BNYDC) LAST BOARD MEETING BEFORE SEPTEMBER!

We call on all people of conscience to join us on WEDNESDAY 6/18 from 9:00-11:00 AM outside of the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation BOARD MEETING (Bldg 77, 141 Flushing) to eject two of their fascist tenants, Easy Aerial and Crye Precision, who not only supply drones and tactical gear to the Israeli Occupation Forces that have been used to murder Palestinians in the last 20 months, but also the NYPD, DoD, and ICE with the weapons and technology for surveillance, occupation, and murder. We also call to end all military-related research, development, and manufacturing at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Through sustained, collective action, we will force Brooklyn Navy Yard to terminate their contracts with these companies and cut ties with the military industrial complex.

This Wednesday, the BNYDC board has eliminated the right of community members to speak by banning the public comment section of the meeting. They know that we would speak the truth and they are scared! The board has the power to terminate or decline to renew Easy Aerial and Crye Precision’s leases. But they are choosing not to listen to the outrage of the thousands of community members, workers and tenants, who have voiced their shock and disgust to learn that they are working and living alongside WAR CRIMINALS. We must keep pressuring these cowards. We will continue to fight for a demilitarized Brooklyn, and for the liberation of all people from western imperialism, FROM PALESTINE TO IRAN TO TURTLE ISLAND.

We need to show up in MASSIVE numbers to hold a PICKET during the meeting from 9AM-11AM. If they won’t let us join the conversation from inside, we will make sure that our voices are heard from outside.
