WEBINAR: The Ongoing Nakba and Solidarity under Fire: State Crackdown on Dissent

On Saturday 24 March at 6pm Palestine (4pm GMT), BADIL Resource Center will host a webinar, highlighting the urgent need for states to impose military, economic, and diplomatic sanctions on the Israeli regime in light of the ongoing Nakba, genocide and other international crimes against the Palestinian people. The European Legal Support Center (ELSC) will present the most prevalent repression policies of states that serve to shrink solidarity space at home.

Two solidarity activists from the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM, USA) and Zivilgesellschaft für Gerechtigkeit (ZfG, Germany) will share their lived solidarity experiences, challenges, progress and goals. We will examine how direct action, divestment campaigns, and popular mobilization can be strategically used to disrupt the operations of complicit governments and institutions. In other words, “how does effective solidarity look like?”
