Young Ambassadors for Peace: A Conversation with Young Palestinian and Israeli Peacemakers

By Friends of the Parent’s Circle

What does it take for the next generation to lead the way toward peace and reconciliation?

Join us on Wednesday, February 5th for an inspiring conversation with young Israelis and Palestinians from the Parents Circle’s Young Ambassadors for Peace (YAP) program.

Last month 40 Israelis and Palestinians met on NYU’s Prague campus for a week-long peacebuilding intensive. In partnership with NYU students, participants lived and learned together away from their harsh and violent realities.

They focused on building a shared process, humanizing the other side, and developing leadership skills for peace. These remarkable young leaders represent the next generation of the Parents Circle, working to promote understanding and dialogue in their communities.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear their powerful stories and find hope in their shared vision for a better future. Guy Shwebel, Mohammad Aramin, Ibrahim Aljafari, Zohar Hermon and Shira Damari will share how they have been impacted by the war and why they are choosing a path of peace.
