We invite you to join us for an important discussion with Dr. Mustafa Barghouti, a Palestinian physician, human rights advocate, and General Secretary of the Palestinian National Initiative. Dr. Barghouti will provide critical insights into the escalating violence and existential threats faced by Palestinians in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

Why This Meeting is Crucial: Since the so-called ceasefire on January 19, 2025, Israel has intensified its attacks on the West Bank and East Jerusalem, resulting in the forced displacement of over 30,000 Palestinians and the establishment of 800 checkpoints restricting movement and livelihoods. Reports from our partners in the West Bank and Gaza highlight an alarming rise in settler violence, mass imprisonment, and blocked humanitarian aid deliveries.

Dr. Barghouti’s Key Discussion Points:

The humanitarian and human rights crisis unfolding in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

The Israeli government’s ongoing military aggression and the resulting displacement of Palestinian families.

Strategies for international diplomatic advocacy, humanitarian intervention, and grassroots mobilization.

A Global Call to Action

As Global Solidarity for Peace in Palestine, a coalition of 150 international faith-based and civil society organizations across five continents, we are actively working to bring global attention to these grave violations of international law. We have formally requested meetings with the United Nations Secretary-General and the President of the UN General Assembly to demand an emergency UN session on Israel’s and the United States’ role in the ongoing genocide against Palestinians.

We look forward to your participation and collective action in support of Palestinian rights and justice.
