6/21 (in person, Richmond VA) 12:30pm - Court Support for the VA I-9

Friday, June 21, 12:30pm - in person at John Marshall Court Building, 400 N 9th St, Richmond, VA

Court Support for the VA I-9!

On the morning of March 11th 2024, nine youth demonstrators — including four members of the Virginia Student Power Network — were arrested following a 4 hour occupation of Interstate 95 in Richmond, Virginia. Following the international call to escalate the anti-colonial struggle against the violent occupation of Palestine, the contingent took action to help propel the impending siege of Rafah, Gaza into local, public discourse.

On Friday June 21st at 1pm, they face the risk of going to jail because of their willingness to put their lives on the line to do whatever they can to shed light on the U.S. funded and backed genocide in Gaza.

WE NEED THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY OUT TO PACK THE COURTROOM TO SHOW SUPPORT AND THAT WE STAND BEHIND ALL FORMS OF CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE IN ORDER TO STOP THE GENOCIDE IN GAZA
