6/3 (Zoom) 2:00 PM - Solidarity Sessions re: Palestinian History and Activism - June 3 Session: A History of Palestine (Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign)

A number of supporters of the Palestinian cause have asked the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) if we could organise online presentations on different aspects of Palestinian history and activism.

In response to this request, IPSC will be hosting five online Zoom sessions (Mondays), starting on Mon 27th May at 7pm (2:00 PM EDT)

The format will be a 40 minute presentation, followed by a 20 minute Q&A.

Mon 3rd June (2:00 PM EDT)

A History of Palestine: An overview of the history of Palestine from the late 1800s, up to and including key events during 1947-1948 (Nakba), 1967, and key events from more recent times.

Presenter: Conall Ó Dufaigh, history teacher, veteran IPSC member, and a founding member of ‘Teachers for Palestine’  https://bio.site/teachers_for_palestine

As the number of online Zoom participants is limited it is necessary for those interested to register as soon as possible in order to ensure access to the sessions - [Online] Solidarity Sessions: Educational Seminars on Palestine - Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign (ipsc.ie)
