12/6 (in person, Princeton NJ) 4:30-7:30pm - A Child's View From Gaza Exhibit of Palestinian Children's Art @ Princeton Univ (JVP Central NJ)

A CHILD’S VIEW FROM GAZA, an exhibit of Palestinian children’s art, will be on view on Thursday, 5 December & Friday, 6 December 2024, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Chancellor Green Rotunda at Princeton University, Princeton, NJ.

The pictures in the exhibit were drawn in art therapy classes by Palestinian children who survived the 2009 bombardment of Gaza during “Operation Cast Lead.” The classes were designed to help children cope with the devastating psychological effects of the Israeli attacks that killed their relatives and friends and demolished their homes and schools.
“A Child’s View from Gaza” is the fulfillment of a promise made to Gaza’s children: to tell their stories, to show their drawings, and to make sure that they would not be forgotten.
