A Background to the Arab-Israeli Dispute The History Issues, and Impact on the World, will be presented by Raymond Ajemian

Raymond Ajemian, a scholar and specialist in Middle Eastern history, will give a talk on the history and background of the current conflict between Israel and Palestine.

This lecture will cover antisemitism, the beginnings of Zionism, the creation of Israel, the various wars, and the issues today, with emphasis on the role of the United States. All are welcome to attend this talk. Registration is not required.

Raymond Ajemian has two degrees in history from the University of Michigan, where he specialized in Middle East history. He currently teaches in the adult education program at Bridgewater State University. Free and open to the public.
