Saturday, November 18, 12:30 PM EDT - in person Inman Square, East Camberville, Cambridge, MA . You will receive the address and further information after you RSVP.
Jewish tradition teaches us that each person is a whole world. To destroy a life is to destroy a world; to save a life is to save a world. We have been organizing, taking to the streets, and calling on our representatives to demand a ceasefire NOW - to save as many lives as possible.
Taking direct action is just one part of what's needed in this moment. That’s why we’re coming together this weekend - first on Shabbat (Saturday), for a community lunch, and then on Sunday, for a training to support Thanksgiving gatherings. (Sunday training a separate Calendar entry)
Please join us for a Shabbat lunch potluck this Saturday, November 18th!
It will be an open-house style event - so drop by whenever you want and stay however long you want between 12:30 and 3:30pm. We will have time to gather with one another to relax, decompress, and meet new people. A shabbat afternoon potluck for folks to drop by, nourish, gather, sing and feel connected. Make sure to RSVP.
*Note that a negative rapid COVID test is necessary for attendance - thanks in advance for helping keep our community safe and accessible!*
