The Center for Contemporary Arab Studies (CCAS) in partnership with the Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding present a panel on the recent events occurring in Israel/Palestine.

On the morning of Oct. 7, Palestinians from Gaza undertook a surprise attack against Israeli military bases, settlements and communities just across the border from the besieged Gaza Strip, which has been under an Israeli blockade since 2007. The conflict is quickly escalating with thousands of casualties. This event will address the broader context for these recent events, and provide an analysis of the unfolding developments and their longer term implications.
