Israeli settler violence against Palestinians escalated in 2022, with West Bank settlers on the rampage, defiling mosques, vandalizing shops and assaulting Palestinians. The Israeli military turned on the Palestinians adding to the death toll. Meanwhile the most racist Israeli government returns to power. Join us as we detail the situation on the ground in Palestine and examine US congressional and grassroots efforts to hold Israel accountable.

Speakers:
1) Mazin Qumsiyeh, an activist, environmentalist, and author and founder and director of the Palestinian Inst. for Biodiversity and Sustainability at Bethlehem University. He now teaches at Bethlehem and Birzeit Universities. He is author of Sharing the Land of Canaan. 2) Anat Biletzki was chair of B'tselem, the Israeli human rights NGO, from 2001-2006. She is professor of philosphy at Quinnipiac and past professor at Tel Aviv University. She also serves as Vice-Chair of the World Peace Foundation at Tufts University and is co-founder and co-director of the Program for Human Rights and Technology at MIT. Recent book: Philosophy of Human Rights.
