Rebuilding Alliance (RA) is honored to bring Architect Dr. Salem Alqudwa, a distinguished Oxford architect from Gaza and a Harvard Fellow, on an in-person speaking tour. He'll be at Boston University on Friday Nov. 11 and Keene Unitarian Universalist Church on Sunday, Nov. 13th

Dr. Salem will speak about the role of everyday architecture in the recovery of communities devastated by the siege of Gaza and introduce RA's project, Family Guided Home Construction in Gaza, asking help to renovate and extend 20 homes, selected because their families are in such great need.

Donna Baranski-Walker, Founder and Executive Director of Rebuilding Alliance

Originally from Michigan, Donna is an M.I.T. engineer who also has a master's in agricultural engineering from UH. She founded Rebuilding Alliance nearly 20 years ago. All RA's work to deliver aid in Palestine required a parallel commitment to advocacy from the very start. Rebuilding Alliance's speaking tours now even include taking Congressional staff delegations and constituents to the West Bank and Jerusalem!

Rebuilding Alliance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to advancing equal rights for the Palestinian people through education, advocacy, and support that assures Palestinian families the right to a home, schooling, economic security, safety, and a promising future. Rebuilding Alliance has been working in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem since 2003. Our direct aid has included construction from the start. We're honored to bring Dr. Salem's plans forward because they are remarkable, well-tested, and innovative.
