Talk: "Technology, Militarization and Resistance: Connecting Black and Palestinian Queer Struggles" (Tufts)

  • Tufts Alumni Lounge 40 Talbot Ave Medford, MA, 02155 United States (map)

Join Tufts Students Against Mass Incarceration and Tufts Students for Justice in Palestine for a discussion with Darnell Moore and Sa'ed Ashtan.

Speakers Sa’ed Atshan and Darnell Moore will reflect on their forthcoming article (titled “Reciprocal Solidarity: Where the Black and Palestinian Queer Struggles Meet”) to be published in Biography. In this article, two LGBTQ men, one Black American and the other Palestinian, theorize “reciprocal solidarity” as a model of solidarity that thrives on love, friendship, storytelling, reciprocity, shared experiences, struggles, and queer kinship.
