Eyes on ICE

Sanctuary is a verb-

These organizations are supporting the work at Delaney Hall as well as working in the community protecting our neighbors and helping families that are struggling to stay together.

Please consider making donations to @cosechanj

Construction inside and outside Delaney Hall continued throughout this week.

GEO management was in the building on Saturday to inspect. We heard that they expect to fill up the building this week. You may have heard that there was a large raid of a warehouse in Edison on Thursday and an attempted raid of a neighborhood in Trenton on Friday. The raid in Edison resulted in dozens of people being taken from their families. We will likely have many more visitors this weekend.

We feel blessed with the outpouring of support. The community has been tremendously generous. However, we ask that you please keep donations to the suggested list. We have some things in the works, but we don't yet have any nearby off-site storage.

Suggested items to donate

Please note that on Sunday at 7 am we are initiating a weekly prayer service we are calling "Let Us Pray". It will be under the trees by the visitors parking for the Essex County Jail. We hope to draw attention to the fact that clergy are being restricted from offering pastoral care to people in Delaney Hall.
