725 (Zoom) 12pm - AFSC Weekly Action Hour: How to Engage Electeds during the August Recess and guest Bob Sanders who is biking across the US for Gaza

Fridays @ 12:00 PM EDT - Zoom

Join us this Friday (7/25), where you’ll learn more about the other types of congressional engagement you can participate in over the August recess, like bird-dogging and in-district lobby meetings. We’ll also be joined by Bob Sanders, a 70-year-old Jewish man who is biking across the United States to raise awareness of the genocide in Gaza.

Reminder: Use this link to join us each Friday at 12pm ET / 9am PT on Zoom for the Action Hour. You will get a reminder an hour before the Action Hour begins with the link to join. The link for the agenda document doesn’t change week to week, so you can always access it!

Watch this AFSC video featuring the heroic work of AFSC’s staff in Gaza over the past year of genocide, take a look at a timeline of our work over the past year, and read our public statement on the anniversary of October 7th.
