Please join us this Friday to hear from Phyllis Bennis, who will speak about action at the United Nations as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addresses the General Assembly. Phyllis has been involved in action on Palestine for decades, helping to found the U.S. Campaign for Palestine Rights. She is also about to release a new primer on Palestine.  

Recent Israeli attacks in Lebanon and Syria have escalated tensions, pushing the region toward widespread conflict. The escalation stems directly from Israel's genocide in Gaza, which has killed over 42,000 Palestinians. You can read AFSC’s latest piece about escalation in the Middle East for more information. When the news is so full of violence and death, the Action Hour community provides me with some hope.
