American and Israeli public opinion are sharply divided over Israel’s
military actions in the Gaza Strip. But what about public opinion in the
Arab world? Join the Crown Center as we kick off the new academic year with an insightful conversation between leading experts on Arab public opinion—Amaney Jamal and Michael Robbins of Arab Barometer, and Khalil Shikaki of the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research in Ramallah, moderated by Michal Ben-Josef Hirsch.

Participants

Amaney Jamal is dean of the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, Edwards S. Sanford Professor of Politics, and professor of politics and international affairs at Princeton University. She is also the co-principal investigator of Arab Barometer.

Michael Robbins is the director and co-principal investigator of Arab
Barometer, Princeton University.

Khalil Shikaki is the director of the Palestinian Center for Policy and
Survey Research in Ramallah and a founding senior fellow of the Crown Center for Middle East Studies.

Moderator - Michal Ben-Josef Hirsch is an associate professor in the Department of Political Science and Legal Studies at Suffolk University and a non-resident fellow at the Crown Center for Middle East Studies.
