Haneen Sabbah is a Palestinian facilitator from Gaza based in Portugal. She is a mother and a poet, and writes for the Palestinian writer's platform 'We Are Not Numbers'. Her cultural offerings include Palestinian food and traditional Arabic songs.
To understand more of her story, please listen to this recent podcast episode in which she speaks about growing up in Gaza and holding onto resilience in the face of grief: #87 Cultural Stories & Mysticism of Gaza: Haneen Sabbah
Ruth and Haneen met and became friends while they were both living in Portugal and love to sing together. Ruth runs the Rooted Voices community choir in Machynlleth, and invited Haneen to run this workshop.
