History of Revolution study series
Sept 21 - What do we mean by socialist revolution?
Revolutions are the locomotives of history. All class societies shake with revolt. The capitalist system is no different. The waves of protest and strikes we see around the world show the nucleus of what can be a revolutionary movement to overthrow the billionaires. But how do we get there? What are the characteristics of successful revolutions in the past? Join us for a discussion of historical examples of revolution and the many times that the colonial state of Canada has been rocked by worker and Indigenous revolts.
