SPECIAL Guest Speaker: Bev Boisseau Stohl
Bev Stohl loyally assisted the legendary Prof. Noam Chomsky at the world famous Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She is a non-fiction writer of many essays (published in The Chronicle of Higher Education, among other publications--also see: bevstohl.blogspot.com) and of a highly praised memoir book, entitled Chomsky and Me, in which she tells the story of her 24 years as Noam's MIT assistant. Bev has interviewed with Current Affairs Magazine, Reddit (AMA), Open Source radio, CounterPunch, Green and Red Podcast, and other social media. She has performed stand-up comedy, appeared on TV news shows talking backward, and has dabbled in ukulele, guitar, piano, dulcimer, and woodworking. She lives in Massachusetts, U.S. with her wife and rescued pets.

In our informal bilingual U.S.-Iranian special conversation (and Q/A) with Bev Stohl (in which she joins us in saying: NO IRAN WAR! -- also on behalf of Prof. Noam Chomsky), we will have a rare PERSONAL chance to see, through the keen eyes of Bev, Noam's loyal MIT special assistant, his legendary peace- and justice-loving "Chomskyan" legacy, including his deep worry and dire warnings (all the way until he had his debilitating stroke in 2023) about the fate of life--and of civilization--on our imperiled Mother Earth.
