They'll delve into her new book co-authored with Sami Hermez, a personal story of her family's resistance and connection with their homeland in Palestine. Sireen Sawalha is a Palestinian-American educator, speaker, and co-author of the memoir My Brother, My Land: A Story from Palestine. She was born in Jenin, Palestine and currently works as a high school social studies teacher in New Jersey.

Her work focuses on sharing her family's experiences under Israeli occupation and raising awareness about Palestinian culture and the struggle for freedom. Rami George Khouri is a Palestinian-Jordanian and U.S. citizen and an internationally published journalist and book author with 60 years of experience in the Middle East. He is a Distinguished Fellow at the American University of Beirut's Issam Fares Institute and a nonresident senior fellow at the Arab Center Washington. He has written for leading publications like the Financial Times and the Washington Post and was a co-recipient of the Pax Christi International Peace Award.
