The One Democratic State Initiative is working with a number of political organizations and figures to organize two political events. The first, titled Towards a Liberatory and Democratic Political Project, will be held in Beirut on October 18-19, due to the impossibility of holding it in Palestine, with the participation of a number of political forces and figures from the region.

The event aims to bridge perspectives on how to confront the dangers posed by the Zionist project, the colonial project, and other identitarian and capitalist projects—emanating both from within our societies and from outside. It further seeks to advance a political project that stands in complete opposition to these divisive projects and to foster political organization around it.

We call on Arabic speakers interested in helping organize the event in Beirut, whether on the ground or online, to attend a call via Google Meet odsi.co/meeting on Wednesday, September 10, at 12pm EDT (7pm Palestine time) to coordinate and assign tasks.

The second event will be held in Madrid on November 7-8 and we will contact you about it soon.
