Solidarity Supper Club: Dinners for Mutual Aid

Join us this Sunday for a Solidarity Supper Club and Liberation Lens crossover!

@liberationlensdc is a DMV media collective dedicated to covering protests fighting for justice and liberation. If you’re a local photographer or videographer interested in supporting independent journalism, come by! Bring a print to swap or a photo book to share.

This week we’re splitting funds between @gazasroots, a mutual aid initiative supporting Palestinians in Gaza and @sankofadc, a staple of the DC Community. Sankofa is a Black owned and operated video/bookstore cafe that is undergoing an expansion to secure their community hub in a heavily gentrified area of DC. This expansion will also benefit the Sankofa Film Institute which archives historical, revolutionary pieces and educates independent filmmakers.
