8/1, 2, & 3 (everywhere) Call to action from Southern VT for Palestine, Vermont CPL & PSL Vermont: Emergency Protest Aug 1 - 3 @ 7pm from Wherever You Are

August 1, 2 & 3

EMERGENCY PROTEST AT 7pm - FROM WHEREVER YOU ARE
Set an alarm for 7pm and bang on a pot or pan from your window or balcony or wherever you are for 2-5 minutes to help raise urgent awareness about the man-made famine in Gaza, caused by Israel’s illegal blockade. Every day, more Palestinians are dying of hunger.
BE BRAVE!
Please record a short video - ideally with a 🇵🇸 flag or
keffiyeh - so it’s clear what we are banging pots and pans for, and share it on social media with the international hashtag #PotBangingForGaza.
And put @pot_banging_for_gaza in collaboration
📍 Remember to add that you’re participating from Brattleboro (or wherever you are), as it helps to show how wide-spread the support is
We hope for strong support — the more of us who do this, the stronger and clearer the message will be. Our goal is to make this a daily action EVERY DAY at 7pm (local time), with the hope that more people will join day by day, spreading like ripples across more cities and countries as a Global Action
Pot-banging, also known as “Cacerolazo”, is a traditional form of protest that gained renewed popularity during the COVID lockdowns, when people in many cities and countries would bang pots and pans from their windows at the same time — in some countries as a tribute to healthcare workers, in others as a protest against restrictions
