JVP Virtual All-Member Meeting

Since our last member gathering as an organization in Baltimore in May, the Israeli government has continued to escalate its horrors in Gaza, carrying out the final stages of genocide. After months of an Israeli military blockade that created mass forced starvation, the US-run aid distribution sites have become death traps. The Israeli military targets and kills Palestinians seeking aid every single day. With financial and moral cover from the US, the Israeli government has also launched unprovoked attacks on Iran, bringing the entire region to the brink of disastrous war. At every turn, the US has unconditionally supported the actions of the Israeli government through billions of dollars in arms and funding.

We will virtually gather to deepen our analysis on this political moment of escalating genocide in Palestine, rising authoritarianism in the US and Israel, and the Israeli government’s escalating campaign of destruction across the region. We will also hear a strategic assessment from JVP leadership on where our organizing can be most effective right now, organizing updates from members, and how to plug into that work.

This is a deeply horrific time, and the only way to get through is to organize. It is critical that we gather from all across the country so that each one of us can feel connected in our outrage, our devastation, and our determination to make the atrocities come to an end.
