Western Media and Israel's War of Genocide on Gaza: Culpability or Ignorance?

Since the start of Israel’s ongoing war of genocide in Gaza, that continues unabated for 21 months, Israel has:

· Slaughtered more than 56 thousand Palestinians, mainly women and children, including hundreds collecting aid at U.S and Israel run distribution centers (and wounding thousands more);

· Created the highest number of child amputees per capita in the world;

· Destroyed 80% of Gaza;

· Prevented aid from going in, using the starvation of a besieged population as weapon;

· Killed at least 200 Palestinian journalists who are shouldering the responsibility (for attempting) to inform the world on what’s going on in Gaza.

Yet all throughout, Western media and in particular the American media remains intent in whitewashing Israel’s on-going crimes. In this panel, we aim to explore the reasons behind this culpability.
