On Wednesday July 16th, join JVP Boston and Massachusetts Peace Action (MAPA) for a Second Day of Action for Divestment at the MA Statehouse!
We encourage everyone to turn out on July 16th to testify in support of (H.2984) An Act Relative to Pension Divestment from Companies Providing Military Equipment to the State of Israel. This bill would require the state pension fund to divest from companies involved in weapons sales to Israel.
Passing this bill helps us end Massachusetts’ complicity in the Israeli government’s policies of apartheid, genocide, and ongoing Nakba against the Palestinian people.
Register to testify by Monday 7/14

More info about MA’s current investments in genocide
As of 2024, Massachusetts has approximately $2.1 billion invested in entities with ties to weapons of mass destruction (WMDs), including nuclear weapons producers RTX Corporations (Raytheon), Northrop Grumman Corp, Lockheed Martin Corp, Boeing, and more. These manufacturers sell their weapons to the government of Israel, which uses these weapons to enact genocide and other war crimes on Palestinians.
Instead of funding destruction and killing, our state funds should be invested in feeding, housing, educating, and healing our communities. We hope you can join us at the hearing, to tell them that Massachusetts should invest in life, not genocide!
