Synopsis - In the seedy underbelly of Athens, two displaced Palestinians risk everything for their freedom.

To a Land Unknown follows Chatila and Reda as they pursue their dream of starting anew in Germany — but as their hardship grows, so too does their desperation. When Chatila hatches a reckless all-or-nothing plan, it pushes the limits of what they will do for freedom.

Screened at festivals across the globe — from Cannes Directors’ Fortnight to TIFF — this “tour-de-force of empathic storytelling” captures the emotional and political toll of displacement, told with intimacy and unflinching honesty.
