6/5 DEADLINE to Apply for the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights Youth Organizer Development Fellowship

From the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights

At USCPR, we know rising organizers with the potential to unleash incredible community power deserve support. If you’ve been exhausted, you deserve a mentor to meet you there. If you’ve been struggling to find inspiration, you deserve a community to study the lineage of people’s victories against fascism and imperialism, together.

APPLY TO THE FELLOWSHIP BY JUNE 5

That’s why we started the USCPR Palestine Youth Organizer Development Fellowship in 2020. We’ve since mentored 43 youth leaders of our movement through this fellowship.  With tools and training gained in our fellowship, fellows have gone on to lead campaigns like the recent Israel bonds win in Cleveland, the deadly exchange campaign in Seattle, new BDS campaigns like Stop Home Destroyer Hyundai, the campaign that ended Pitzer College’s Israel study abroad program, and successful weapons divestment campaigns in Houston and Dallas.

We take fellows through an in-depth curriculum on organizational basebuilding and campaign escalation skills. And, we study historic examples, like the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), Chicago’s Rainbow Coalition, and AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power (ACT UP) alongside guest speaker sessions on contemporary Palestine campaigns.
