join us on JUNE 22nd at @studiotwothree (109 W 15th St, Richmond, VA - doors @ 7PM) for a selection of shorts before our feature film, TONGUES UNTIED. We've teamed up with @queercinema4palestine NO PRIDE IN GENOCIDE program, a global film event co-organized by PACBI (the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel) and 100+ partners in 25 countries, from China to Ecuador.

The program features stellar queer films made in solidarity with Palestinians, denouncing Israel’s genocidal apartheid regime. We will be showcasing selections from the 2025 Queer Cinema for Palestine “No Pride in Genocide” short film program before the film that we hope you can join us for.

Too often during Pride month, we see corporate entities w/ ties to Israel try to sponsor events for our community- here at Hard Light we are uninterested in this pinkwashing. Many of us within Hard Light are proud members of the LGBT community, and all of us stand in solidarity with Palestine, so this partnership just felt right. We'll be playing a selection of shorts from this program before moving onto our feature of the evening- Marlon Riggs TONGUES UNTIED.
