6/18 (in person, Manchester NH) 5:30pm - Open Democracy and Open Democracy Action Annual Meeting

We are excited to invite you to the Open Democracy and Open Democracy Action Annual Meeting on June 18, 5:30 pm at the Derryfield Restaurant (625 Mammoth Rd, Manchester, NH)

Doors will open at 5:30pm for cocktails and networking, and a buffet dinner will begin at 6pm.  Register today!

Our very special keynote speaker will be Laura Brill, Founder and Director of the Civics Center.  Laura is an attorney, former law clerk to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and a mother of two young adults. We have been working alongside the Civics Center to organize high school voter registration drives throughout New Hampshire, and cannot thank them enough for their partnership!

We will also be presenting a series of awards this year:  Russell Muirhead, author and Professor of Democracy and Politics at Dartmouth College, will receive the Democracy Champion Award for his commitment to protecting democracy and voting rights at the State House.

High school students Catherine Tenn and Amalia Gloss will receive the Civic Leadership Award for their outstanding work organizing high school voter registration events at their schools.

Louise Pierson Spencer will be the recipient of this year's Granny D Award, for her tireless devotion to protecting democracy in the Granite State: for her boundless energy and creative genius, and for her leadership, mentorship, and mobilization skills.

Please join us in honoring these individuals that give so much to protect our precious freedoms in New Hampshire.

Tickets are $50 for the general public, and $25 for students.  If cost is a barrier to attending, please email Doreen for the availability of donated tickets.
