May 22 - July 1: Fast For Gaza

Veterans For Peace has organized a 40 day fast for Gaza. These are the demands:

1) a resumption of humanitarian aid, under UN authority, to Gaza
2) that the U.S. stop arming Israel NOW!

There is also a Fast Challenge started by Guy Christensen (he has raised over $100,000 with his fast). He is asking for participants to skip 1 meal and donate what they would have spent, and then to nominate someone to do the same (like the ice bucket challenge).
