Palestinian Prisoner’s Struggle Commemorative Gathering

FREE THEM ALL: ALL POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
Join us Monday at 7PM at Madhouse Cafe in Roxbury with our comrades in @officialjerichoboston for a panel on the prisoners’ struggle from Boston to Palestine.

This event will highlight the solidarity between the Black and Palestinian prisoners’ movements which are forever intertwined in joint struggle to liberation.

Every year, we commemorate April 17 as Palestinian prisoners day, the first being in 1974 when Mahmoud Bakr Hijazi was the first Palestinian political prisoner to be released in a prisoner exchange between Palestinians and the Zionist entity. Since then, commemorations include honoring the martyred, released, and imprisoned Palestinian prisoners and serves as a reminder for the over 10,000 prisoners currently unjustly imprisoned in Israeli prisons. They are subjected to torture and abuse yet remain steadfast in their resolve and dedication to Palestine and the Palestinian people.
