Palestine Solidarity Walking Tour + Protest

On May 17, 12 PM, join Metro DC DSA and our allies @dmvpym, @psldc, @jvpdcmetro, and @dc4palestine for a walking tour as part of a national week of action commemorating Nakba Day. We’ll walk through the city, stopping to hear from speakers about different institutions’ complicity in the Zionist genocide of Palestinians. 77 years after the Nakba, Palestinians are still subjected to ethnic cleansing and internal displacement, apartheid, genocide, violence, cultural erasure, and economic disenfranchisement. The tour will begin at Farragut Square at noon and will cover about 2 miles of walking. After, we’ll be encouraging participants to attend the DC Arab American Culture Festival at Dew Drop Inn. (listed separately on the NENJP calendar)
