Christians for a Free Palestine Community Call - Confronting Christian Supremacy: Part 2 Anti-Muslim and Anti-Palestinian Racism

May 15th is Nakba Day, a day that commemorates one of the largest forced migrations in modern history. Palestinians call this day “al-Nakba” — the catastrophe — to commemorate the ethnic cleansing of nearly 750,000 natives and the destruction of more than 500 Palestinian villages and towns in 1948.

77 years later, the Nakba continues, accompanied and facilitated by a campaign of dehumanization based on anti-Muslim, and anti-Palestinian prejudice. In honor of this solemn anniversary, our next Community Call will focus on these topics.

As Christians, we must reckon with the role of Christian supremacy in the ongoing Nakba. We have a responsibility to understand the Christian roots of anti-Muslim hatred, its impact on U.S. foreign policy, and its implications for Palestine.

We are excited to partner with Muslims for Just Futures on this call, and we look forward to learning and strengthening our solidarity with all of you so we can continue to take bold action against Christian supremacy and Christian Zionism. Please join us.
