Film Screening: The Battle of Algiers (5pm) + Roots of Resistance discussion

On Wednesday April 30th, we will be hosting two events. First we will watch the film “Battle of Algiers” showing the heroic resistance of the FLN and Algerian people against colonialism. We will enjoy pizza and drinks while we watch the film. Then we will discuss the ongoing attacks on Middle Eastern countries and the armed resistance that takes place. We will discuss various groups and their militant actions, whether or not these actions are condemned under international law, and much more. This is an educational event and PSA is in no way endorsing any parties or groups, discussed or otherwise. Middle Eastern desserts commonly eaten in Palestine and Lebanon will be served during the discussion.
