Scholars for Social Justice Emergency Faculty Townhall

We are living through a dangerous assault on higher education. A right-wing authoritarian agenda is targeting our campuses, seeking to control what we teach, what we say, what we research, and who has the right to learn. It’s an attack on academic freedom, critical thinking, and the very purpose of education.

As faculty, researchers, and campus workers, we face a choice: retreat in fear or rise in solidarity. We choose to rise.

We invite academic workers across the country to join us on April 3rd at 6pm CST / 7pm EST for a Nationwide Faculty Town Hall. Together, we’ll confront what’s unfolding on campuses across the country and chart how we organize for this moment, and the challenges to come.
