Israel’s Siege on Gaza: 2006 - 2024 with Professor Leila Farsakh
For the National Week of Rage and Israeli Apartheid Week, Professor Leila Farsakh will be delivering a guest talk on the history of Israel's siege of Gaza and past ceasefire "deals".
Goals: 1) to understand the history of ceasefire deals breaking down in this moment, 2) to ground ourselves in the history of Palestine for Israeli Apartheid Week and before the march on Washington.
Leila Farsakh is a professor of political science at UMass Boston. Her area of expertise is Middle East Politics, Comparative Politics, and the politics of Palestine and the Arab-Israeli Conflict.
