This year, Palestinian Prisoners Day coincides with Maundy Thursday on April 17th presenting a potent opportunity to link this reality with the biblical narrative. There are an estimated 9500 Palestinian political prisoners, including over 300 children, languishing in Israeli prisons. According to human rights organizations, many of these people have not been charged with a crime.
