April 15, 5:00 PM EDT - Online
American Friends of the Parent’s Circle is excited to announce the launch of our Listening from the Heart webinar series—an opportunity to experience a unique dialogue program that centers personal stories of bereaved Israeli and Palestinian families. Designed to foster empathy, challenge polarization, and create space for thoughtful engagement. Listening from the Heart has been shared with schools, campuses, and communities across the country.
Beginning Tuesday, April 1, we’ll be hosting weekly sessions—alternating between a 30-minute Info Session and a 60-minute Demo Session:
These sessions are ideal for those looking to understand the structure and purpose of Listening from the Heart. We’ll provide an overview of the program, show brief video clips, and answer frequently asked questions—such as how we maintain balance, who we’ve partnered with, and what types of feedback we’ve received.
These sessions offer a guided look at how Listening from the Heart works in practice. Experience a condensed version of a typical session, including a personal narrative exchange video with bereaved Palestinians and Israelis. The session also includes a facilitated discussion on how to introduce the program to your community.
These sessions are intended to introduce Listening from the Heart in a clear, accessible way. They’re designed to help potential facilitators (e.g. educators, community leaders, etc.) understand what the program is, how it works, and what kind of impact it has.
We encourage you to join us and invite others who may benefit from an empathetic and human-centered approach to dialogue. Whether you're an educator, community leader, or simply curious to learn more, these sessions offer a meaningful way to engage with the work and consider how it might resonate in your own setting.
