Int’l Working Women’s Day Rally: Third World Women Resist

RHODE ISLAND RALLY: Join us this International Working Women’s Day on March 8 for a rally that honors the revolutionary feminist tradition of the Third World Women’s Alliance.

The term “Third World Women” embodies the incomplete revolutionary project that wages an unyielding fight against interlocking systems of gendered and sexual violence, capitalism, colonialism, racism, and imperialism.

This IWWD we pay homage to a long lineage of transnational feminist solidarity between women’s movements in Africa, Asia, Latin America, their diasporas, among Indigenous communities in Turtle Island and worldwide. These living histories continue to teach us what true revolutionary feminism and joint struggle look like in practice.

Join us to build upon the revolutionary traditions of our mothers and ancestors in the cultivation of a feminist future free from all structures of harm and oppression for us all.
