Combating Project Esther: Thursday, March 6 at 8PM ET
In one of his first acts as president, Trump signed an executive order targeting foreign college students and immigrants who protest Israel’s assault on Gaza with deportation and repression.1
This dangerous policy is directly influenced by the Heritage Foundation’s “Project Esther,” written by the same authors as the infamous Project 2025. It’s a comprehensive plan to obliterate any organization they deem “un-American,” starting with the movement for Palestinian human rights, all under the guise of combating antisemitism.2,3
As Jews, we have a unique role and responsibility to fight back. That’s why we’re hosting a special virtual call on Thursday, March 6 at 8pm ET: Combating Project Esther.
On the call, we’ll hear expert analysis on Project Esther, share how our movements can defend against its attacks, and prepare to fight for our shared safety — together.
Trump’s inhumane deportation order is pulled right from the Project Esther playbook. It’s a blatant, cynical attempt to use Jews and antisemitism to divide and crush our movements and bolster their fascist agenda — all while this administration openly embraces ethnic cleansing and apartheid.
Yet establishment organizations like the ADL and AIPAC are egging the administration on, supporting the lie that we can achieve Jewish safety through mass deportations and crackdowns on free speech.
We won’t let them, and we won’t be silent. We know the opposite is true: empowering the far right endangers Jews. We will keep our Jewish communities safe when our neighbors are safe, and our neighbors will be safe when we are safe.
Join me on our virtual call on Thursday, March 6 at 8PM ET / 5PM PT.
In solidarity, Ezra and the IfNotNow team
