Last week, Senator Chuck Schumer showed a devastating lack of leadership as he failed to strategize an effective negotiation with Republicans around the bill to fund the Government. Senator Schumer has been pleading his case on multiple platforms, but people aren't buying it. Members of congress are pointing to the need for new leadership in the Senate. Even veteran House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, "I myself don’t give away anything for nothing,” in a strong rebuke of his handling of the CR. Across the spectrum of Democrats, one thing is clear: we need leaders who FIGHT FOR US! Join us on Sunday at noon across from 9 Prospect Park West to tell Chuck Schumer to resign as Minority Leader and make way for leadership who will FIGHT!
