Rami G. Khouri is a Palestinian-American academic and journalist whose family resides in Beirut, Amman, and Nazareth. He has engaged in discussions, debates, and track two talks on Palestinian-Israeli peacemaking since 1966. During his 55-year career in journalism he was Managing Editor of the Jordan Times and the Daily Star (Beirut) newspapers, wrote books, and contributed reporting and opinion pieces from the Middle East to the Financial Times, NPR, Washington Post, Aljazeera Online and TV, BBC radio, and other outlets.

His most recent book, co-edited with Helena Cobban, is "Understanding Hamas and Why that Matters", and he is completing a manual on "The Craft and Legacy of Anthony Shadid".
